We are entering uncharted territory for our country.

Having lived through roughly eight years of non-stop efforts on the part of the Democrats to “get” Donald Trump with investigations, impeachments, and indictments, we are now on the cusp of as complete a reversal as might be imagined outside the plot of a badly-scripted movie. 

The arrow is today pointing the other way, and the force of law is landing squarely on the shoulders of Democrats. Whether we are talking about the bizarre Presidency-by-autopen of Joe Biden, the extraordinary funding of NGO’s and non-profit groups that have engaged in activities ranging from massive disinformation campaigns to the funding of violence directed at law enforcement, or inconvenient questions about the outrageous erasure of files during the investigation of the events of January 6th of 2021, Democrats are lawyering up and proclaiming they are being victimized by a partisan witch hunt directed by—who else?—their most hated enemy, President Donald Trump, who has taken office yet again and put a sledgehammer to a stunned Democratic Party and its befuddled office holders. 

Whether firing vast numbers of bureaucrats, cancelling federal contracts by the handful, chopping the legs out from under the DEI regime throughout the nation, bringing elite universities to heel, dramatically reorganizing government agencies or marking them for closure, imposing tariffs that are daily altering the global economic balance of power, revamping our military and its missions, launching a devastating air strike on Iranian nuclear weapons facilities, using Executive Orders to redirect the business and purpose of government, closing our borders and aggressively deporting both illegal immigrants and those who have resided here “temporarily” for years or even decades, passing perhaps the most consequential legislative and fiscal program since The New Deal, zeroing out the funding for government broadcasting, or simply humiliating his opponents on a daily basis, the political reality that existed for Democrats on January 19th of this year has been erased before their very eyes. Spending that was once sacrosanct is no more, programs that were once the cornerstones of the liberal state are gone or greatly curtailed, and blocs of voters who were once the unshakable foundation of Democrat electoral victories have (gasp!) been trending Republican. The political, economic, and cultural world both in America and abroad is now unrecognizable to Democrats who, only this past November, were certain the future was theirs to do with as they wished—and would be theirs forever and ever. However, there was a sharp right turn during the drive to a Socialist utopia, so we are today facing many very large and important questions regarding America’s future.

Right now (and this could change in a heartbeat) the focus is the Russiagate (a.k.a. Russian Collusion Hoax) documents that are revealing in excruciating detail what appears to be a massive conspiracy to undermine Donald Trump’s first term through the covert weaponization of America’s intelligence agencies. Allegedly acting on the direct orders of President Obama prior to Trump even taking the oath of office, a disinformation campaign of massive proportions was set in motion to cripple his Presidency, which could lead to multiple felony charges against many leaders of the Democrat Party and other officials—and has, understandably, pushed the fear level concerning the rule of law in America right up to 11.

No one really knows how the abusive and readily-violent street Leftists who are now the shock troops of the Democratic establishment will react when the courtroom sketches and perp walks feature the likes of former President Barack Obama (who apparently signed off on illegal surveillance and election tampering), former Secretary of State and 2016 Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (who was purportedly the funder of the first fake intelligence findings that formed the basis of the Russian Collusion Hoax), Senator Adam Schiff (who was one of the main cheerleaders for impeaching a President based on fake allegations), former Director of the C.I.A, John Brennan (who overruled the objections of career intelligence experts and certified the veracity of false evidence), and so many other Democratic insiders and regime journalists who spun a scandal out of demonstrably untrue intelligence and their own vile and bitter rage over Donald Trump’s first election to the Presidency.

If we have learned nothing else over the past several years, it is that Democrats are willing to go to any lengths and tell any lie, up to and including ones that encourage violence, to both advance a false narrative and protect their corrupt grip on power. This is a sad truth we must face that raises hard questions concerning the dangerous consequences of the collision between truth and lies in our nation today.

Now that Attorney General Bondi has forwarded evidence regarding the Russian Collusion Hoax to a grand jury, it seems plausible—perhaps even likely—that charges against many leading luminaries of the Democrat Party will be forthcoming. The reaction to criminal referrals will be both blubbering denials and anger regarding what will be framed as a “threat to democracy” that requires massive protests in response—to “protect” America. A great many will swallow this swill and respond with a ferocious rage in an attempt to overwhelm and delegitimize law enforcement agencies in much the same manner they have blocked, doxxed, and attacked ICE officers who are now rounding up illegal immigrants, many of whom are dangerous felons. 

With a sizable minority of Americans still obstinately convinced that Donald Trump won the Presidency through means that are both illegitimate and illegal—and who are, therefore, willing to oppose indictments against Democrats by any means necessary—we might soon find out whether Molotov cocktails can convince weary Americans that learning the truth about the machinations of Russiagate is simply not worth the price in terms of national protests and family fights. The activists, agitators, and anarchists of the political and cultural Left, who have spent years on their Orwellian quest to prove War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength (while working diligently to subvert any concept of both societal norms and objective truth), are certainly hoping to twist facts, law, and patriotism into a pretzel while continuing their eternal quest to “get” Donald Trump once and for all. 

Will our courts allow this?
